My sketches have been very aquatic/fantasy related lately. This one started as a sketch for a 3D collage and then it drastically took on a life of its own as a separate piece. I would love to use it as a flyer, but there’s not much space for text. I may revise it and add it to a collection of pieces that are going to be put into a book of illustration and poetry. At some point…
I just absolutely love whimsy and imagination so many of my sketches end up looking like something from a weird animated dream. I want to make copies of this and color it in different ways. The larger version is clearer and provokes a stronger urge to add bright orange.
